Your main mission is to escape and find exotic P-tonium in order to save your world. The two get stuck in Armikrog, which is a huge fortress filled with dangers and puzzles. We’ll see if the team behind the game has the PR savvy to make it happen. This is Gaming Cypher’s review for the PC version of Armikrog by independent game developer Pencil Test Studios ( Earthworm Jim and the Neverhood) in partnership with indie publisher Versus Evil.Īrmikrog is a true point-and-click adventure ‘claymation’ game in which you get to be both space explorer Tommynaut and his blind alien talking dog Beak-Beak. Will it meet the goal? It would take one heck of a late push by Kickstarter’s gaming enthusiasts, but it isn’t unheard of. The campaign for Armikrog only has three days left and is still about 30% short of a $900,000 goal at the time of writing. Achieving this $950,000 stretch goal will cover the additional costs of developing Armikrog on the Wii U–which will be available for download through the Nintendo eShop. In order to make this happen, we’re announcing our first stretch goal of $950,000.īut wait…why are we announcing a stretch goal when we haven’t hit our initial funding goal yet? Great question! Making a Wii U version of Armikrog was not part of our original budget, but so many people have been asking for it that we feel compelled to respond. Our first thought was “I wonder if anyone would want to play Armikrog on the Wii U?” Well…we think YES!!! As you may have heard, Nintendo recently contacted us to discuss the possibility of releasing Armikrog on the Wii U.
